Jesus is the Minister of the true sanctuary!

Hey! I've been trying very hard to blog about what I learnt on Wed BS. However, my computer doesn't seem to like me blog.. I typed halfway through on Wed night and my computer hang. I pray that I'll be able to finish what I want to say and have a good fellowship time with God later!

Well, we rushed through the quick summary of the previous lesson before starting on lesson proper. Bro Kim Hock taught so fast that many of us were lost. Some were so lost that they lost interest in the lesson. However, I thanked God that I remained focused in listening and catching whatever that I can from him. Bro Kin Hock went a little off halfway through and started sharing about his mission trip to China a few weeks ago. Wow! I could sense his excitement as he shared. I could also identify with the kind of excitement that he had because that was the kind of excitement that we've been feeling since last week. Bro Kim Hock said, "There is excitement when you know you are in the will of God." Wow wow wow!!! I'm in the will of God!!

How many of us have our own favorite preacher?? How many have ever made comments like, "Oh, this week Pastor Kong is not preaching, I doubt I'll ever learn anything from this pastor who is preaching." Or rather, "I prefer Pastor so & so to preach instead of this." Ha! I was once guilty of that. Do you know that Jesus is the one who is actually ministering instead of the person who is preaching? Jesus is the Minister of the true sanctuary!!!! No matter how boring a service or BS may be? Jesus is the One who is ministering. We'll still learn something from that "boring" sermon!! We'll still catch something in the Spirit!! So no matter who is preaching, I always prepare my heart to get ready for the message and Jesus will minister to me and bless me!!

Another thing that I've learnt is why we are called OVERCOMERS! God knows that there are lots of challenges in life that we have to go through. So He made all of us OVERCOMERS. To overcome all our problems. We all have the ability to overcome, but are we using that ability given to us? I looked back at my past and realised how many "mountains" I'd overcomed and I'm still overcoming. Each time I walk over one, I will rejoice and know that another one is coming! Though there are never ending problems to be solved, I know that I grow stronger each time I overcome. There's a sense of satisfaction and victory. Many times there are struggles and we met problems because our will is clashing with God's will. However, when we learnt to let go and let God and say, "God, let your will be done and not mine." God will help us overcome and we walked through that victoriously again. I like what Bro Kim Hock said, " I rather suffer now, overcome the problems, when we come to the Great Tribulation, I can stand strong and firm. Than, keep siam-ing all my life and when we come to the Great Tribulation and DIE!"

Ha! How true that is!!! So many people have been running away from their problems and never get to solve their problems. So they never get to grow stronger at all. So when things happen all of a sudden, they wavered, collapsed or even have thoughts of leaving church. Our God works in contrary to how the world works. God wants us to keep overcoming every single challenge in our lives so that we can keep on building up on our own faith in God so that we are ready for whatever that comes in out way. In that way, nothing will overwhelm us again. God will never ignore us when we really come to Him with a humble heart, surrendering everything to Him. I'll never let my will clash with God's will ever again because I love Him and I know He loves me too!
